High-Fidelity Prototypes for University Game

  • Alice Roberts

During my User Interface module at University, I was given the task of designing the interface for a game of my choosing for potential University students wanting to find out information about the University of Greenwich. I was asked to make high-fidelity prototypes to visually show my game idea, I created them using Axure and Photoshop. I chose to create a virtual world where the user is guided by a student character. The user is instructed by the student throughout the game using text prompts. The user navigates through the game by selecting different areas of the University, e.g. the library. Once they reach an area they can learn more about each department by clicking on various objects dotted around the screen. When the objects are clicked, information is relayed to the user by sound and text.
