Every need is taken care of in that understated, intuitive way that every hotel strives for but relatively few deliver.
The Dolder Grand is as close as you can get to sleeping in an art museum - walls, corridors and even the bar providing a visual feast. QR codes allowing you to learn more about the work and artist as you move from your room to the spa, to the restaurant, to the library….
Our favourite time is just when this photograph was taken - the fading light over the hills around Zurich and the lights of the hotel a signal that the working day is over and now it is time to unwind.
