Humphrey Ocean Monograph

In 2019 Humphrey Ocean released a 335 page monograph published by Royal Academy of Arts. The book includes work from 1975 to the present day and is categorised into seven chapters: canvas, sculpture, paper, Dot Books, A handbook of modern life, print and sketchbooks. The book opens with an essay written by Ben Thomas and concludes with a comprehensive chronology. I worked with Humphrey to create the chronology, page captions and index for the book as well as proofreading copy in full. The publication was project managed by Humphrey Ocean and Julia Ravenscroft and designed by Hyperkit studio.
