I Love Trains // brand & campaign

As a nation, trains used to be our favourite way to travel. But times have changed and recent publicity has fractured our relationship with train companies. We set out to remind ourselves what made us fall for it in the first place.
From 11-17 August 2015 East Coast Main Line celebrated the nation’s love of train travel with I Love Trains Week. Train travellers and rail fans were encouraged to get involved by sharing why they love trains via the dedicated website, www.ilovetrains.co.uk or East Coast’s Twitter feed @eastcoastuk using the hashtag #ilovetrains.With its own identity, this was a celebration for the whole industry, not just East Coast.
The activity over the week included out-of-home advertising (including a reactive live feed billboard in King's Cross station), social and experiential reaching over a whopping 90 million people worldwide.
