Ian Macleod Distillers – Burnfoot Whisky Packaging

  • Christian Williams

Glengoyne, a well-established distillery, launched a new whisky. The brief was to attract a new, curious and aspiring target audience to take their first steps on the Glengoyne journey. The whisky was named Burnfoot – the original 1833 name of the Glengoyne distillery. The name Burnfoot has heritage, while the GPS co-ordinates, fluorescent colour and distinct stencilled typography add a modern twist. The burn is illustrated in gold foil and the box is crowned by a distinctive aluminium clasp. The result is a whisky that has gone back to the future.
