The problem: As the largest trade associations for the world’s airlines, IATA wanted to improve the overall flight experience for passengers worldwide. The solution: By integrating the latest technology in wearables, IATA set out to help passengers better deal with the eternal problem of jet lag. The result: Through their SkyZen app, IATA enables passengers to minimise their jet lag through the use of insights about their sleep- and activity patterns. The data furthermore enables IATA to gain a better understanding of the jet lag problem.
