If a Lion Could Speak

For the second volume of Fashion in Leeds, The City Talking took a different approach; challenging five directors to document a short story related to the city and its connection to fashion. I worked with Shang-ting Peng – The City Talking's Art Director – to create a dream-like film about the loneliness of living far from home and the things that can be lost in translation. I edited the film, using long transitions to create a dreamy effect and animated the subtitles so that they became part of the composition. The soundtrack was also created by me, remixing a piece by Origamibiro.
