Introducing my directional debut and short film, ILẸ WA. The ILẸ WA short film reveals the chaos and peace that come with living in the motherland whilst also resonating with the experiences of those still connected to their roots in the diaspora. "ILẸ WA offers a space for reflection and soul searching." - Gal-Dem Shot in Lagos, Nigeria and screened at The National Gallery / As seen in GUAP and gal-dem.com. The film is also an introduction to a Coffee Table Book available to pre order in March featuring the photography, poetry and art behind 40+ creators from African and Caribbean heritage globally. 100% of the book's profits will go towards The Soul Purpose Campaign a philanthropy project by WE ARE SOUL that funds the educational needs of young people from disadvantaged communities in Nigeria.
