IMAGINE - kids wear collection

IMAGINE is a kids-wear collection inspired by the creative, playful and educational nature of character flip books. Flip books involve the designinng of a character through mixing and matching various body parts or outfits, thus encouraging the child to use their imagination. The focus of this collection was to incorporate this aspect of flip books in prompting children to develop their mind in their play and learning. Thus, Velcro patches of animal parts are integrated into the collection to encourage the child to put the pieces together and create a new character. This use of sensory play stimulates the neurons in the brain and aids child development, as well as compelling a creativity and imagination within the child, and helping children to develop and improve their motor skills, co-ordination and concentration. The varied use of different fabrics, textures, colour and print in this collection also aids the progression of the child’s mind via touch and sight.
