Events in Sound undertook the task of sound design and mixing for this enchanting, enlightening and deeply inspiring documentary film for The Landworker's Alliance and Black Bark Films.
In a nutshell that means we were the final stage in the film production process. Our job here is to add the icing on the cake; ensuring everything sounds clean and smooth, transitions feel seamless, and the picture comes to life with enhanced sound environments. That could be the subtle use of sound effects, foley and atmospheres, mixing, editing and pacing the music, as well as tidying up the dialogue.. In this film we also directed the commentary and provided input with the script. The sound is then mixed and sweetened to ensure it plays well on everything from a mobile phone to a full dolby cinema.
Sound work on any film is a subtle and surgical art that often drives the narrative. It's something you'd only tend to notice when it's bad!
