Inprint is a design and illustration fair focusing on all things print, we also host exhibitions and workshops in the North West. We use ourselves as a platform to promote emerging talent from local creatives and bring them together to network and share experience at our events. Inprint is run by myself and Emily Briselden Waters, we began 'Inprint' in November 2012 as a collaborative project whilst in our final year at university. We wanted to do something creative outside of the work we were doing on our courses so decided on setting up a print fair.
Inprint Festival was our largest to date. We hosted this event at Camp and Furnace in Liverpool. The event was spread across the 3 main rooms of the venue, Camp, Furnace and the Blade Factory. The event was very well received and was featured in the Liverpool Echo newspaper.
This event featured our largest print fair including 60 tables of designers, print makers and illustrators selling their own work.
Inprint Festival was supported by GF Smith papers, who provided us with all of the paper to use for all workshops on the day. We were also joined by Hot Bed Press, a print studio based in Manchester who offered visitors the opportunity to pull their own print.
We also featured an exhibition Post+Print, we had an open submission for the exhibition which explored the relationship between post and print and asked contributors to illustrate a location they would like to receive a post card from, whether real or imaginary.
