As graphic design is a relatively new form of output i've been using, i felt i should try to practice it. The best way i used to practice illustration was to have timed challenges, so i felt if i gave myself one day to create a design, letting me come with anything i could.
I also thought that it would be nice to publish them to Instagram as well, as a kind of act of finishing the project, and to get my work out there as well.
The outcome to this point now is that i do feel slight improvements to what i'm doing, and it's making me even more adept at photoshop. However, these designs are like sketches, no real purpose to them aside from aesthetics. i feel that although it improves my general skill at designing on a quick dealine, i need to make more pieces that diversify my outcomes.
I still set myself the 'one day challenge' every now and again, trying to make it so i do three a week.
