I managed 120 volunteers over the 10 day festival and ensured all performances, volunteers and staff were running to schedule. 14 hour days... but it was definitely worth it! Duties included: Volunteer Management: I managed 120 volunteers and coordinated communication between teams by creating an excel database of contracts, personal contact details and individual rotas per volunteer. Communication lead and Ambassador: I was the ambassador for Creative Youth charity and represented many projects in regional events. I was the face of the festival events, the point of contact and attended committee meetings. Community and project engagement: I built a strong volunteer community for IYAF festival branching out to different boroughs from London to Kingston to join/ take interest in the festival. Using social media platforms as forms of communication and hosting meet up groups. Delivery of community training sessions: I gave IYAF talks and workshops at local schools to encourage the students to become a volunteer. I hosted training and inductions from 6-15 volunteers spread across a month before the launch of the festival. Working from home administration: I work well working from home and well versed in all administrative tasks such as; diary management, budgeting, typing and telephone enquiries, as well as email and letter correspondence. I am IT literate and work well using Word, Excel, InDesign, Illustrator and PowerPoint.
