'Modern Breed' single cover & Promotional Merch
My good friends over at INXCLUSIVE asked me to create the artwork for their new single 'Modern Breed' as well as prototype some merchandise themed around the release & overall band. As usual like every time I've worked for the INX boys they didn't really have a super clear idea of what they wanted other than large type & a orange theme, So instead they sent across some examples that I could base the first designs off, From those initial inspiration pieces I found the band wanted a grungy feel with large heavy text.
The first thing I worked on was the imagery. From looking at the inspiration they sent across and the research I did myself they wanted imagery that was grungy/ominous and imagery that fit the overall feel of the fast paced song as well as the message in it. So I got to work with their guitarist and photographer Brandon Parker & Chloe Jones, as I knew highly edited photos would fit the style they wanted best rather than illustrations. So they went and took some photos and came back to me with this unedited RAW which after a lot mindlessly messing with Levels & Curves I got this
