About me

Patrick Campbell-Brookes (PatchyCB) is an illustrator based in the West Midlands, UK with an open and experimental approach, keen to seek out new and challenging opportunities. His work ranges from colourful, playful, graphic styled illustrations & animation to captivating moody digital paintings to graphic design and photography work. Patrick mostly uses Photoshop to work in but is fluent with Illustrator & InDesign while also taking an interest in animation. Patrick has worked with the Mander Centre in Wolverhampton to create a mural for their arcade installation during his second year in university and has worked with the likes of WOLFY, Led Astray and InXclusive to create promotional material and logos for the artists.

  Gym Rings GifJust a quick little study of a character using gym rings that I thought I'd try and turn into a GIF in photoshop, For a first time using Photoshop to create something like this I thought it worked out well! Been taking my physical health more seriously recently and weirdly motivated me to create a couple fitness themed pieces. Think I'm going to mess around with minimal animation in my work more, it was a fun process! Was a lot of fun and really want to make some more fitness orientated stuff

  Mander Centre, Wolverhampton (UK) Muralwhile studying at the University of Wolverhampton, we had the opportunity to create a large flowing mural for the Mander Centre, Wolverhampton for their new temporary arcade installation. The goal of the mural was to create a flowing mural that was eye catching and went well alongside the arcade to grab the attention of all demographics and pull people into the arcade installation.
