Giving trash a second chance

In the beginning, there were books...

Circa 2020, myself and Vitoria Bastos started making books. We were inspired by the colours, shapes, and designs of grocery boxes that are usually only handled by producers, delivery drivers, shop owners - and eventually, the rubbish man. So with amateur experience, no training and no end goal we began creating wonky, lo-fi sketchbooks.
The more we folded, stitched and glued, the more we realised they were just as easy to use as they were to make.
Stitching things together

We realised that the low stakes of making each book coupled with the found and recycled trash materials relieved the users of any pressure of potentially ruining it.

These less intimidating books invited ideas that would never have been committed to the pages of other sketchbooks and removed any hesitation or second thoughts.

The books are made of rubbish, no harm in rubbish ideas going in them.
The books for bad ideas

We positioned ourselves as a resource to be used and abused. A vessel to get you where you needed to go to, tools to do what you needed them to.

No bullshit, just books.

Our tone of voice is similar, honest with authenticity and humour. Our products emphasising our hand-made feel with an innocent and curious approach.

Our passion for making showing in every stitch.
