The solution: A typographic campaign, across print and digital platforms The concept: Being fair to all students by not branding them with any particular imagery. En_cap_sulate is a bottle cap activated sequencer allowing people to be in complete control of their party experience. One of the D&AD New Blood Award briefs, we were tasked with creating a new experience or ‘activation’ that plays with music to incite positive change. We wanted to create something none of us had seen before and give people an experience they hadn’t experienced before. We asked; what is the best we can get out of the bottle? The answer? Too fast too careless was my take on the current state of design so I decided to make my own design tools which would make people take their time to learn them and therefore hopefully care more about what they were designing.

A music video for Old Skool by Metronomy telling the story of Tony Walkman, a walking Walkman with time altering capabilities and his quest for self confidence and also a woman. This brief was set by Metronomy and Pulse Films to create a music video for their upcoming single; Old Skool. We set out on this venture with the vision in mind to create music video.     Co-founded a hand-made sketchbook business reusing cardboard from the street to create unique sketchbooks for creatives and writers alike. This included creating a logo, brand guidelines and developing a social media strategy to maintain a constant output. As we sold through clients too, I have had to work closely with them to provide stock to their shop and ensure our brand isn’t being misrepresented in a 3D space.

    As part of a small design team, I worked closely with the Marketing Director to marry business and brand strategy with design strategy across all platforms including social, in-store, TV, trade shows and more. I managed multi-platform creative campaigns from brief to completion. Working directly with clients and stakeholders to create strong, impactful work whilst maintaining solid brand cohesion. I oversaw the creation of social and web campaigns based on customer insights and research and online tools such as Semrush, aimed at bringing in a new customer cohort while retaining existing customers. Alongside this, I maintained the creation of countless assets daily, managing feedback from multiple stakeholders whilst keeping a high standard of work. During the pandemic of 2020, I was the only member of my team to stay at the business, this put me at the helm of all creative output of the company with all requests, questions, and artwork coming to and from me. My responsibilities also included researching personas and creating content that would appeal to ever-changing audiences and markets through key insights and data.
