A collaborative design and and decor making project for Just So Festival 2016.
Primarily I worked with another designer to design the Village Green Tent. The brief asked for ‘a W.I tent with a twist’. The tent hosted a cake contest, book readings and workshops. Using origami, wire and fabric flowers and old crockery we designed the tent to feature fountainlike table pieces and swarms of bees and butteflies flying from jam and honey jars. We created a kitschy ‘Cath Kidson’ style with an added touch of magic. I was also involved with sign painting and making for other festival areas.
