Juxtaposition of the Subliminal and the Conscious

My project is about the juxtaposition of the subliminal and the conscious, under the theme of consumerism. I picked this theme as I am always interested in consumer culture and how our behaviour can be influenced by the power of trends and advertising. After visiting the Tate Modern’s ‘The World Goes Pop’ exhibition in London, I was inspired to use elements of pop art and eye-catching colours to express the issue of consumerism.
