Karoshi - Eva Risueño Navarro (Garment Concept Film)

  • OLIVER MICHAEL BACON

Named after the source inspiration of the garment that is pictured within the film. The Garment featured was designed by my friend and collaborator Eva Risueno Navarro who is currently studying Fashion Knit at Central Saint Martins with myself. 'Karoshi' is a term used for Japan's culture of overwork, where it is common for businessmen and women to collapse due to exhaustion. My film looks at capturing a dreamscape of a subject who is experiencing the effects of this culture. My film uses Photogrammetry and motion graphics to create this space.
