As the team behind Kili's new website, we recognized the pivotal role that superior design plays in translating Kili's mission into a visually compelling and user-friendly experience. Understanding that the foundation of impactful AI lies in quality data, my team endeavoured to this message seamlessly through the design of the Kili platform. As a design director, I’ve collaborated closely with stakeholders to oversee the excellent work of our team, be a champion for best design and development practices and provide businesses with with high-quality AI. Kili’s new brand we crafted in collaboration with Ragged Edge represents a paradigm shift in the AI conversation. It's not just about the potential benefits; it's about AI learning from us. Our website and platform showcase this ethos, illustrating how businesses, whether focused on disease detection, safety, or profitability, can harness the power of AI rooted in good data, which, in turn, demands human intelligence. With offices in Paris and New York, our design strategy aimed to convey Kili to a global audience of business leaders. The Kili platform is positioned as an indispensable asset, transforming businesses by seamlessly integrating human expertise into the AI development process. The website design reflects this shift in perspective. The Kili mascot, a personification of our brand identity, serves as a relatable and engaging conduit for users to contribute their knowledge and expertise. The website's tone of voice aligns with intelligent pragmatism and empathy, providing a seamless and human-centric experience for visitors. I joined the process after initial rounds of deployment and had the unique opportunity to oversee a mature design system while working closely with my client to deliver functional pages that tackled large datasets and editorial content.
