We were actually required to develop a professional portfolio as a percentage of the third year of my degree (a two birds one stone kind of situation) I took it upon myself to use my time wisely, and create endless versions of a simple typeface of my name, enabling me to play around with physical typography. So even if I haven’t used all the experiments I conducted, they weren’t wasted. Even if they didn’t make the cut it wasn’t necessarily because they weren’t successful. And at the end of the day I really enjoyed the process and I’m pleased with the results. I played around with coloured backgrounds, textures, and coloured overlays, and made many more than the final 4 that I chose in the end. All the same I've included a few of the 'runners up' here to give them their share of the limelight.
