Projects
- Reslife Events Posters / Poster DesignsWhilst working as a Resident Assistant for the University Accommodation Services, one of our responsibilities is to put on events for the students in halls, with the aim of helping integrate students, and allowing them to make friends outside of their flats. We wanted to distance ourselves from a 'university staff' persona and show that we are just students ourselves, here to help. I used bold colours and playful fonts to create a loose brand image that would make the events seem accessible to all, and convey a more relaxed tone of voice.
- Design For Music / Album ArtworkThis was a second year project that was lead by tutor Vaughan Oliver. The brief was to create album artwork (packaging medium of our choosing). From researching Sia’s ‘100 Forms of Fear’, and from gathering my own perceptions, this album is largely about the artist’s battle with mental illness - depression, anxiety, and how it’s spilled into her personal life. Some of the songs are harrowing and painful, others uplifting and admirable.
- L I Z Z Y (here and now) / Physical Type Logo DevelopmentThis is a personal project of mine that I persued in the process in developing my own brand and self-advertisement. I could tell you something deep and meaningful about how my variety of logos represents my versatility, and how I can mould to any project require, but that isn't really the reasoning behind my logo concept. It was actually just an excuse to make a bunch of cool wacky things that said my name.
- RSA - The Good Life 2.0 / Creative Campaign Concept DevelopmentThis brief, entitled ‘The Good Life 2.0’ was set for the RSA Student Design Awards Competition. We were required to create a product, service, campaign or system that facilitates positive lifestyle behaviours in daily life. This/These lifestyle changes should be a step towards tackling one of the prominent issues of - rising rates of heart disease, stroke, cancer, chronic respiratory disease and diabetes. Working in group of 5 over half a term, our concept was to create a fun, interactive project that transforms Waterloo Station’s underground into vibrant immersive spaces. It begins with the light-up ‘Ready?’ ‘Set?’ ‘Commute!’ floor signs that build anticipation in leading to our centrepiece - the escalators. Each escalator has a calorie deduction to demonstrate the impact of stair-climbing to one's health. Ideally, the numbers would light up when stepped upon. The NHS define stair-climbing as a ‘vigourous’ activity capable of halving the risk of a half attacked when done for just 7 minutes a day.
- Penguin Adult Fiction / Book Cover DesignThis brief was commissioned by Penguin for their annual Adult Fiction cover student design award. The designer (myself) is tasked with creating a book cover for the much-loved for over 6o years ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ by Harper Lee. My final, is an embroidered typographic piece that I made and photographed. The medium mainly represents the politics of the deep south during the 1930s - equality, societal scorn, etc. But the colours, typeface, and shapes also convey the wistful idealism of a child

Whilst studying at The University of Greenwich I have been fortunate enough to have worked with some exceptional, nurturing tutors, and talented classmates alike. This has challenged me to push my creative abilities, but most importantly it's helped me to find my feet as a designer in the beautiful chaos of the industry. The degree teaches creativity across multiple formats with a focus on ideas development and academic practice.
