L’Oréal Colour Trophy Competition 2018

L'Oréal Colour Trophy, the longest running live hairdressing competition, is back to showcase some of the brightest hairdressing talents across the country, whilst ensuring that hairdressers nationwide are continually inspired to celebrate ‘Hair Inspired by Fashion’.
The L’Oréal Colour Trophy has evolved from its origin 63 years ago, growing from only 300 attendees in 1954 to now welcoming thousands more of the industry's greatest talents.
L’Oréal Colour Trophy continues to inspire around the world, giving new salons the chance to share their passion and talent!
As a semi finalist in L’Oréal's annual Colour Trophy Competition, I was one of five young people in the London region of the competition to go through to the semi final and had to create a look on a live model of my colour work.
I had just 30 minutes to style my model in front of the judges and be interviewed about my final look.
During the first round, hundreds of photographic images from across the country were judged by the most influential names in the hairdressing industry. I fought off stiff competition and was successfully chosen to go through to the next round of the competition – the Regional Semi- Finals.
