LANCE touring were charged with developing a strategic tour plan for an unsigned act currently studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music. The task was to build a seven date regional tour, culminating in a live event in Guildford. The purpose of this portfolio style report is to document the process of planning and justify the decisions made by the management board. The focus extends to artist selection, role assignment, logistics and venue suitability, managerial decisions, financial judgements and legal implications. A holistic approach has been adopted in the report as documentation of success and shortcomings of those involved is required to accurately portray journey of the task. As a result to complement the narrative of the report, some first person reference will be made. As the Legal Affairs Manager there will also be reference to the legal activities conducted or note where this area could have been improved throughout the report.
