Lead Curator - "BECAUSE, BEFORE, WHY" Exhibition

When my university experience was coming to an end, I was invited to help out with curating an exhibition for Marenka Gabeler alongside three other students. I wrote the press release for the exhibition, which was made into the boards for the exhibition, and I was also made lead curator. The exhibition ran for a month and apart from doing the writing, I also made an exhibition list and helped out with the setting up of the artworks, which included paintings and photographs. This was an unforgettable experience which allowed me to gain first-hand knowledge. I got a feel for being a curator but also experience in writing a press release and working with an artist.
