About me
I am enthusiastic, creative, and hard-working. I am always eager to learn and try new things to expand my knowledge and skills. Experienced in crafting compelling narratives and articles, my role as a feature writer allowed me to explore diverse subjects, from art to literature. I had two articles consecutively featured, allowing me to delve into the arts and create captivating content with creativity and originality. I utilised skills such as proofreading, editing, and interpersonal communication. Also, I've revised an artist's online presence by refining her 'about' section and composing a captivating biography that delved into her artistic journey and collaborations. With a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for contemporary art, through this experience, I have honed my web content writing and research skills. I completed my MA in Journalism, focusing on Arts and Lifestyle, at UAL in December 2023. Before that, I obtained a BA: Hons in History of Art with English Literature at Regent's University, London, where I graduated with First-Class Honors in January 2022. While at Regent's University, I received two Vice-Chancellor's Awards for my academic achievements. As my undergraduate university experience ended, I was invited to curate an exhibition for Marenka Gabeler alongside three other students. I became the lead curator, which allowed me to gain first-hand knowledge and experience working in the art world. Throughout my MA, I have been able to utilise my existing skills, such as academic writing and researching, while also gaining new and invaluable skills, such as proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro and knowledge of SEO. I have also enhanced my strengths, including interviewing skills, a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail. Apart from my interest in art, I have always been passionate about sports, literature, fashion and travelling.

Review: Tate Britain's Women in Revolt! Exhibition, 2024An article written for Studio V about whether this exhibition highlights the unsung heroines of British art, and if it does confront the discourse around the intersection of art and feminism. In the article, I explored how these women artists redefined the course of British art and challenged societal norms. In doing so they carved a space for future generations of women to rewrite history. However, I reflect on whether the setting at Tate Britain serves to amplify the women of the exhibition or

"Fashion's Love Affair With Surrealism Is Staging A Comeback"An article I wrote for Artefact Magazine about Surrealism and its influence on past and present fashion: Surrealism is an art movement which emerged in the early 20th century. It captures the other-worldly, dreamy and bizarre nature of the subconscious mind. The motifs of Surrealism soon began influencing fashion, with Elsa Schiaparelli collaborating with artists such as Salvador Dalí in the 1930s. This article explores past fashion collaborations with Surrealism and how the movement is still p

Lead Curator - "BECAUSE, BEFORE, WHY" ExhibitionWhen my university experience was coming to an end, I was invited to help out with curating an exhibition for Marenka Gabeler alongside three other students. I wrote the press release for the exhibition, which was made into the boards for the exhibition, and I was also made lead curator. The exhibition ran for a month and apart from doing the writing, I also made an exhibition list and helped out with the setting up of the artworks, which included paintings and photographs. This was an unforgett
