An article written for Studio V about whether this exhibition highlights the unsung heroines of British art, and if it does confront the discourse around the intersection of art and feminism. In the article, I explored how these women artists redefined the course of British art and challenged societal norms. In doing so they carved a space for future generations of women to rewrite history. However, I reflect on whether the setting at Tate Britain serves to amplify the women of the exhibition or if it instead presents several limitations that hinder its effectiveness. I pose the question: does this exhibition truly do all women justice? In the article, I include the history of Tate Britain, the steps the museum has taken to work towards a more equitable future, as well as, the creative practices on show and the curatorial process of the exhibition. The article is featured in Issue Two of Studio V's zine, which can be purchased through their website: https://www.studiov.org.uk/shop/p/the-magazine
