This films aim was to capture a fresh, original minimalist response to the camera. Its starts with a close up on the eyes, a confrontational engagement perhaps, put its purpose is divisive, it makes eye contact to get you psychologically synched into an experience where there are no rules, a sense of disquiet, a tension and where the camera captures relentlessly silhouettes and intimate close ups of detail in order keep the intensity of the film direct to you the viewer, there’s no other subject to address or of interest, the subjects are not fearful or looking for approval, there is an element of individualism which is appealing and bears an edge of desirability. The framing, the FPs and the relentless drilling of the accompanying soundtrack, is to further enhance your visual experience that the playing fields are somehow unique and different, you are not courted by any commercialist semiotic notions.
