Loewe Technologies

  • Bodo Sperlein
From 2016 to 2018 Bodo held the position of Creative Director, reinvigorating the brand through innovative product collections, as well as advertising campaigns, brochures, new brand language, concepts for trade fairs and events.
Responsible for the world’s first electronic film transmission in 1931, Loewe is an iconic name in home entertainment technologies with an eminent history.  Bodo’s direction succeeded in reasserting Loewe’s position at the leading edge of contemporary technology design.
The bild 9 was our flagship design for Loewe. It elevates the television from an overlooked, utilitarian item to a sculptural centrepiece.
The design reimagines how a technology product can be integral to an interior through its visual elegance even when not in use. Drawing inspiration from line sculpture and constructivism, the frame is a design statement that combines art and technology.
The bild x concept is our most recent deisgn for Loewe. It is a statement design. Pairing cutting-edge technology with seamless aesthetics, we are carving a path towards the future of television and illustrating our innovative approach to industrial design.
Using LG’s OLED technology, Bodo’s concept was to pair high-end materiality with technology, drawing inspiration from the geometry of mid-century graphics and Bauhaus architecture.
The pinnacle of form meets function, the bild x is at the leading edge of luxury home technologies.
