An award winning London based multidisciplinary design studio working across product design and art direction. Working internationally for a wide range of renowned clients, the studio was created in 2003 by founder and creative director Bodo Sperlein. Driving a broad & innovative approach to creative art direction and product design. Bodo and the team extensively devise projects from concept to delivery and have a passion to revive and reposition premium heritage brands.
Projects
- Loewe TechnologiesFrom 2016 to 2018 Bodo held the position of Creative Director, reinvigorating the brand through innovative product collections, as well as advertising campaigns, brochures, new brand language, concepts for trade fairs and events. Responsible for the world’s first electronic film transmission in 1931, Loewe is an iconic name in home entertainment technologies with an eminent history. Bodo’s direction succeeded in reasserting Loewe’s position at the leading edge of contemporary technology design.
- Triangelis: Public CommissionIn 2016 Bodo was approached for a bespoke commission by Triangelis church in Erbach, near Frankfurt in Germany. As his first public space project, it was an exciting opportunity to apply his creative process to a new sphere. The brief was remarkable: to design a font, ambo and candle holder to be installed following the renovation of the neo-gothic church. The items had to fulfil a specific function whilst working with the influence of the interior space - both its physicality and sanctity.
