London Beer Factory Mock Brief

  • Melissa North

A personal project following a mock brief to design three labels for London Beer Factory. The brief was to create a set of labels where the colours were inspired by the tropical flavours within the beers such as grapefruit, pineapple and peach. There should also a be a subtle nod to the city of London where the brewery finds its home. I used themes of architecture and wildlife to inspire the concept for the labels. This project was not commissioned.

'Jungle Trip'

Following the concept of a subtle nod to the city, this label plays with the idea of living in a concrete jungle. Green Ring Knecked Parakeets, which are growing in numbers and can be seen flying all over London, feature throughout the design.

'SE27'

This label takes inspiration from London Beer Facotry’s new warehouse taproom in West Norwood as well referencing the area’s history as the Great North Wood.

'Atmospheric'

In keeping with the London concept, this label takes a night time view of the city. It references the railway arches that house London Beer Factory’s Bermondsey taproom as well as the city’s nocturnal wildlife.
