In February 2020 I collaborated with fashion designer Chanel Joan Elkayam at her London Fashion Week show. Instead of shooting the kind of informal BTS images I've made in the past, I wanted to create photographs that were more polished and studio-like. I brought in my hand-painted Italian duck canvas and some large softboxes and portable studio strobes. It was a tight squeeze but we managed to capture most of her collection before the show got underway. It was a lot of fun shooting so many great models, exquisite clothing and all benefiting from professional hair and make up! I'd love to set up more SHOWSTUDIO's for other events in the future.
