'Lost In Translation' - China Academy of Arts Summer School 2017

In 2017, I was selected to partake in an international summer school in China. After doing various workshops including learning how to tie-dye, we summarized the end of our summer school by creating our own final outcome in response to a brief set. Mine was based on the misunderstanding between my new friend and I - based on whenever we converse, one person tries to understand what the other is saying. Before completing the final painting, I did a practise portrait painting first.
