Low Cost Medical Ventilator MKII

  • Alex Muir

The country of India has now been very badly affected by COVID-19, plunging it into an economic crisis, as well as running crucially low on medical supplies and putting the populations lives at high risk. Even though there are vaccines, they aren't currently able to cater for the whole population, so the coronavirus is still putting everyone at risk. The ideal solution, therefore, is to design a medical ventilation device that is highly repairable/identifiable from accessible localised parts/materials, deployable on the ground and that is user-friendly for even people who have no knowledge of the device.
