M&S rebrand

  • Molly Holmes

The high street is dying. With the M&S Oxford Street store due to be knocked down, many expected this to be the end of the declining department store. Therefore, we took on the challenge from McCann Leeds, to rebrand M&S with a loud and proud attitude to rebel against its expectations and return it to its place as a destination high street shopping experience. A huge inspiration for this rebrand came from present and past British Social Rebellions (eg. The Mods and Rockers, Punks, Climate Change Activism, BLM and Pride) as often nothing changes in society without causing some noise.
