Made.com Homeware Press Launch

  • Susie Young

I (with my then company Knot & Pop) was appointed by Made.com to event design, style and produce a press event to launch their new homeware collections. Taking place at the Soho Showroom, the space was transformed into a pop up supper club with the new collection featured throughout the dinner scape. The design led and modern sensibilities of the brand were key to the design of the space and styled setting. Custom-made wall art and overhead installations were created by the K&P team from the Made.com collections to spotlight the new ranges and set an inspiring scene for the press evening. With a collection that spanned several ranges, an eclectic dining scene was styled that showed how beautifully the collection could blend and mix and match together. With vases, candlesticks, crockery, cutlery, glassware and linens dressed across long table dining, that also featured a mix of Made.com chairs to complete the look. Once seated for dinner, press enjoyed a five course tasting menu, with each of the courses plated on the new collection. Due to the success of the installation designed by Knot & Pop for the event, Made.com decided to keep it as a store feature for three weeks before being re-installed in Paris for another showcase.
