Every year, Wieden+Kennedy collaborate with 6 local makers, providing a work space for them to create and exhibit, as well as celebrating and sharing their talent with the public.
Tucked away behind Old Spitalfields Market, and only a swift meander from Brick Lane, W+K’s public facing window continuously transformed from one creative workspace to another over the course of six weeks.
The workspace acted as a reflection of each artist’s process, their practice and their art in performance. Both of our artists spent a week in constant creation-mode, and whilst Kelly’s project pushed her emotional endurance, Matt’s tested his physical capabilities.
This was a chance for Kelly and Matt to take time over a passion project. The brief was completely open, and in this new and ambitious undertaking, both created something entirely unique, as well as showing a process that was captivating to watch.
