Malaria Consortium
The Malaria Consortium learning papers capture and collate some of the knowledge, learning and evidence around the focus and effectiveness of their work.
I worked closely with Malaria Consortium to art direct a series of learning papers that highlights their malaria prevention work throughout Africa and Asia. One challange was the lack of site specific photography. To solve this we commissioned a series of illustrative covers, created by Andrew Lyons and Cajsa Holgersson, that represent typical environments. Our visual direction helped the charity to tell their stories more clearly through the use of information graphics and compelling photography.
Working closely with the illustrator Andrew Lyons and Cajsa Holgersson, who created editorial covers under my stewardship, I created a consistent style that reflected life in the rural, malaria affected, villages of Africa and Asia.
