Marginalised Identities Campaign

  • Holly Lavelle

My course were briefed by the LGBT+ Foundation Manchester to create a digital campaign for them. I focussed on gay women, recreating homophobic lesbian pulp fiction covers from the 1960s and replacing the titles with the ignorant, invasive and stupid questions gay women are asked (taken from interviews). Manchester couple Haleesa and Natasha modelled for me, and i collaborated with illustrator Eve Gittins who drew the final campaign images.
