Market Introduction of YBN Cordae - Strategy, Branding and Digital Projects

Working with the artist now known as DMV-based rapper YBN Cordae, I worked as a creative strategist and artist manager growing the brand of the then little known artist, from the end of 2016. Together, we elevated the highly-talented lyricists personal brand online, executed independent releases of new songs, and worked on finding new partnerships within the industry. Eventually, when Cordae's ongoing relationship with the YBN clique peaked, he *officially* joined the collective and completed his rebrand - entering the mainstream market. His Instagram following rose from around 3,000 in January 2017, to 1M+ by December 2017, now hovering around 1.3M. YBN currently has 4M+ monthly Spotify listeners, anxiously awaiting his debut album.
