Matariki Handbook

Driven by Te Matakīrea, the Indigenous Design Unit and the Marketing team, this handbook seeks to further members understanding of the significance of the Māori new year. Included is an explanation of the stars, Matariki and Puanga, acknowledgement to the development of the Te Kāhui o Matariki Public Holiday Act and a navigational guide to finding the stars. Let us embrace the principles of this new year, to reflect on our past, present, and future selves.
