In my spare time I am an MC for an international live music organiser called Sofar Sounds. Sofar Sounds puts on gigs for up and coming musicians in people's living rooms in over 400 cities across the world.
My role is to welcome the audience to the venue, introduce the musicians to the stage and co-ordinate with the team of volunteers to ensure the show runs smoothly. This role demonstrates my interpersonal skills as connecting musicians with the audience requires energy, enthusiasm and confidence.
