As part of being an Ambassador for footwear brand Melissa, I worked with the brand to curate a 'diary making' workshop at their Flagship store space in Covent Garden.
'Photographer, founder of the Girls Don’t Cry project and Melissa ambassador Danika Magdelena has teamed up with actress, writer and director Thea Gajic for another empowering night at Galeria Melissa London: a Diary Making Workshop that was all about self-love.
Danika has started the project in 2017 as an independent initiative, and it has been growing ever since. The GDC is an online platform that promotes feminine empowerment, mental health, and self-expression through creativity.
For the Diary Making Workshop, Danika and Thea transformed the Galeria into a space where participants could use their thoughts, memories, feelings and creativity to make their brand new own diaries.
Thea lead the first part, talking about respect, belief, self-love, reflection, and encouraging the participants to share their own experiences. After that, time to get the hands on the arts & crafts to customize the diaries!'
