Mental Health Awareness Evening presented by University of Bath students

The Mental Health Awareness Evening was filled with live performances and key speakers addressing various aspects of mental health. The purpose of the evening was to raise awareness, support and money for Papyrus UK, a national charity for the prevention of young suicide. Venue: The Forum Café is an independent coffee shop that offers a venue for evenings with a total capacity of 60 people (of which all spaces were filled). The space has tables that can easily be shifted according to your event, soft lighting and caters drinks and snacks. The venue has a capacity of 60 guests (which was filled). Features: Seven guest speakers from the University Psychology department, Papyrus, Helpline and a student, opportunity to gain more information about each speaker’s line of work after the event, musical performances, drinks and snacks available for purchase and a raffle sponsored by local shops. Learning experience: Prepare a seating layout in advance that allows all guests a clear view of the key speakers.
