Metal and ceramic planter

  • Oliver Grayson

Working with Wedgwood I was given the brief of creating a planter for inside the home. Looking at existing products I was inspired by the look of hanging planters however they come at the cost of dripping water causing mess, which is why they are often placed outside the home. In response I created a collection of planters that solve this issue of draining water. In response to this I have designed a collection of planters that incorporate a water collection system. The water drips out the spout on the front of the ceramic pot and is collected in the ceramic bowl underneath. With the ceramic pieces housed in a copper frame this planter comes in different sizes one to hang off the wall, one large for bigger plants and a smaller one for the desk or table.
