Mi.Mu Gloves

  • Patrick Perring

We’ve always been passionate about music at Another Kind so we jumped at the chance to work with the Mi.Mu team on a brand identity for their company. The exciting startup is building wearable tech that lets users create music through movement. Their newly launched products include a pair of gloves that control and manipulate audio from dedicated computer software and allows the creation of music in breathtaking new ways.

We created a suite of logos that took inspiration from sine shaped sound waves and computer circuitry that gradually increased in fluidity and movement. The movement and accent colours matched up to the three main brand products of gloves, software and apps.

For the typography we used technical looking mono and sans serif typefaces to maintain a minimal and forward thinking aesthetic.

Final deliverables included logos, brand identity documentation and a responsive website to tell their story and begin taking orders for the highly anticipated gloves.
