Midsummer Night's Dream

‘Are you sure that we are awake? It seems to me that, yet we sleep, we dream…’ This collection focuses on the fantasy and beauty surrounding Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the ballet created to honour it. Through tulle, embroidery, vibrance and volume I have created a collection which embraces the innocence surrounding dreaming making it youthful and playful. Through the use of soothing tones, I have relayed the illusion of a calm night making the collection sophisticated and fusing all of the ideas from Shakespeare play together.
