I have assistted Suki for 5 years now. She was one of the first photographer's I ever assistted and it goes without saying I learnt so much from her. Things like, how to talk to clients, how to make the subject relax and pull the best out of them. Her eye for detail is immense and her high standards pushed me to be constantly better. The amount of adventures we've been on carry with them great memories. Seeing her juggle this with being a committed mum sets a clear example of how to navigate it all. This quick shoot is no less an example of all this. The first time I was actually star struck and she directed Mo and myself in a way which brought something visually interesting out of black container yard and a beaming sun.
