Short suspense-drama film
Maria is an ordinary woman, who has single-handedly raised her nine-year-old daughter, Lilly. However, when the police turn up at Maria’s front door she knows why they are there: to take Lilly away from her.
Maria would like to keep Lilly but she realises it’ll be impossible. So, she wants the chance to explain to Lilly what is going to happen and why she did what she did in the past. On top of that, she has to find a way of telling her the truth without frightening her.While the police are continually knocking louder and louder, Maria tells Lilly how much she wants her to remember her and how much she loves her. Lilly is distressed by the thought of losing the only woman she has known as her mother. Maria comforts Lilly while the police eventually break in arresting Maria and take Lilly away.
